Portugieser has been at home in our region for centuries and has found its home here. The vines have been tended by many generations of our family and are situated in one of the earliest areas of the Ellerstadt vineyard to be used for winegrowing. The oldest vines in this single-vineyard plot date back to the 1920s and have been seamlessly replenished over time.
